Account Deletion

1. Overview
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Google Play requirements, Check Easy allows you to request the complete deletion of your account and all associated personal data.
2. How to request the deletion of your account
To request the deletion of your Check Easy account and your personal data, send an email to the following address:
Please include in your email:
- Subject: "Check Easy Account Deletion Request"
- The email address associated with your Check Easy account
- Your full name (as registered in your profile)
3. Processing time
Your request will be processed within a maximum of 30 business days from the receipt of your email. A confirmation email will be sent to you once the deletion has been completed.
4. Data deleted
Upon deletion of your account, the following data will be permanently erased:
- Your profile information (surname, first name, email address, phone number)
- Your property inspection reports and associated photos
- Your reports and route history
- Your welcome guides
- Your property and booking data
- Your preferences and account settings
5. Data temporarily retained
Certain data may be retained after the deletion of your account, solely to comply with our legal obligations:
- Billing data: retained for 10 years in accordance with the French Code de commerce (obligation to retain accounting records).
- Connection logs: retained for 1 year in accordance with the loi pour la confiance dans l'économie numérique (LCEN).
This data is securely archived and is only accessible upon request from a competent authority.
6. Consequences of deletion
Account deletion is irreversible. After deletion:
- You will no longer be able to access the Check Easy application with this account
- All your reports, photos, and documents will be permanently lost
- Your active subscription will be terminated (no pro-rata refund will be issued)
- Sharing links for reports or welcome guides that you have distributed will cease to function
